Converts in Carmel

I was privileged last night to take part in a Zoom for UK converts to the Catholic Church.  This had its origins in the magnificent ministry of the American Coming Home Network.  They have produced a plethora of videos and podcasts containing a wealth of apologetics materials and inspirational conversion stories.  They have helped many individuals on the way into the Church, and that includes reverts – people with a Catholic upbringing who have wandered away and subsequently returned.  Many Seculars are of course converts, and I think that there is a good blend in the communities between them and the cradle Catholics.  On the subject of conversion, I particularly recommend the stories of Holly Rodriguez and Elliott Cannon which are to be found in the ‘Enrichment’ section of the website.  I don’t know how Holly is getting on in Carmel these days but I know that Elliott is progressing – he has been based in Kensington where the Friars have a ministry.
