Suffering

I came across this quote attributed to 'Mother Teresa' - I guess that is St Teresa of Calcutta:

'Suffering is a sign that you have come so close to him that he can kiss you.'

I think that is absolutely awesome and it doesn't need commentary, only to be kept in mind and kept close to the heart.
