Waves of grace

The World Meeting is over now and I was speaking to one of the participants on the phone last night who was at Madrid Airport on the way home.  She sounded very joyful and she told me that the group of a dozen or so from the UK had not only found great inspiration in the experience but had found each other.  Last week, as the Meeting was starting, I blogged about the chemistry that sometimes arises when two individuals interact and I expressed the hope that this would be the case for individuals present in Avila.  It sounds as though that the hope I expressed had indeed some measure of fulfilment.  Please God the great encounter of hundreds in Avila will send waves of grace through Carmel around the world.  I hope this blog will be receiving more reflections on the great meeting from others – I know that Vivien’s reports have been much appreciated.

NB There have been fires near Avila, we need to remember all victims of the fires and all who are fighting them.
