A reader recommends ....

I have received this recommendation from an OCDS member:

“The Prayers of St Teresa of Avila”

Compiled by Thomas Alvarez OCD

Pub: New City Press, NewYork.

ISBN 0-911782-76-1

He adds:

'This is a collection of short excerpts from Teresa’s prayers, with her associated comments, taken from a few of her major writings, accompanied by a number of her soliloquies. Each extract can be used for a short daily meditation, which I am finding very useful, as one is not overburdened by a long read. The soliloquies provide a longer read.'

Intercessions:

I - a young mother facing a very gruelling and frightening operation in July.

S - infant struggling with whooping cough.
