Friends of the OCDS

Users of Facebook may not have come across the 'Friends of the OCDS' site. It is a very rich source of quotations, of prayers, of information, and of news. It is truly international and full of inspirational pictures. The Philippines, Mexico, the USA, Bangladesh ... so many contributions, so many riches. We hear a great deal of negative news about social media, but the devil does not rule it, the Lord is there too! Another smaller site is called 'Authentic Contemplative Prayer'. It has a strongly Carmelite flavour and distinguishes the teachings of the great Catholic saints from heresies or dubious philosophies of prayer.
