Let nothing trouble you

Many people find solace in Teresa's famous saying

 Let nothing frighten you,

 All things pass away:

 God never changes.

 Patience obtains all things.

 He who has God

 Finds he lacks nothing;

 God alone suffices.

I have not yet been to Taize, but I gather that Nada te turbe/Let nothing frighten you has become a favourite song there, with music composed by Joan Szymko (b1957), an American composer, choral conductor, and music educator. Yet another example of Teresa's phenomenal reach into so many areas of worship and culture right down to today. When you become aware of her, you can find her everywhere! St Teresa, pray for us!
