We Seculars are kept in touch with the wider world of Carmel and the Church through regular updates both from our office in Rome and from our Provincial. A recent circular reports at length on a journey made by friars to the Ukraine to bring encouragement and practical aid to the beleaguered Carmelites and Catholics there. May our very helplessness in the face of evil draw us deeper into prayer.
