New group in Coventry

It's always exciting when a new group begins. That is happening at Christ the King church in Coventry on Saturday next, 13 January. There is holy mass at 9.30am followed by adoration and an opportunity for confessions. We will be adjourning to the Library at 11.00 am for coffee and then an introduction to explain what the Secular Carmelites are all about, followed by a time for questions. Then we shall study a passage from The Story of a Soul by Therese of Lisieux. From last year We are still celebrating the 150th anniversary of her birth in 1873 and the centenary of her beatification in 1923. Celebrations will stretch into 2025, which is the centenary of her canonisation. The meeting will conclude at 1pm.

In the meantime we are hoping to start a group in Northampton but we are still searching for premises.
