Souls in search of God

In my capacity as OCDS Outreach representative I am the gateway for inquirers who ask about the Seculars as a result of looking at the website.  It is my job to route them to the Regional Representative of the area in which they live, and that person should be able to find them a group or community near enough to where they live to be accessible.  The Seculars nationally are organised into Regions for purposes of administration and mutual encouragement through annual Regional meetings.    If the person is geographically too remote from Secular groups to attend any meetings, we can always make suggestions about the possibility of a virtual connection with Carmel through our internet community or through a remote connection with a mentor.  I personally am immensely privileged to witness the gentle flow of inquiries and to have conversations with some of the inquirers, learning about the variety of spiritual experiences that lead persons to Carmel.  Lives led so differently but connected through a common denominator, the desire to grow closer to God.
